Man sells family house, dumps Congolese wife for Edo woman
A Congolese woman, Mrs Glory Fahuji, and her son, Junior, have become homeless after her husband, Ray Fahuji, married another woman.
PM Express reports that Mr Fahuji who is a Nigerian, secretly sold their Lagos family house, married another woman and moved to Benin, Edo state.
The house which is located at 16 Adebayo street, Boniface Ashipa in Ayobo in Lagos suburb, was sold for N6m.
The couple who have a 24-year-old son had built the house together about 24 years ago. Glory was said to have made substantial contributions for the purchase of the land and building where they lived peacefully until recently when her husband started behaving strangely.
Ray met Glory 24 years ago in Congo republic where they married and later relocated to Nigeria.
Glory and her footballer son got the shock of their life after the new landlord, Omoregie Monday surfaced and asked them to leave the house. After lots of resistance from the embattled wife and son, Monday got police from Area M Command, Idimu to eject mother and son forcefully.
Junior was arrested and charged before court with conduct likely to cause breach of public peace and threat to life under the Criminal Code.
He was arraigned before Magistrate’s court sitting in Ejigbo where he pleaded not guilty.
