Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani has signed a contract extension that will keep him at Parc des Princes until 2020.
The Uruguay international moved to the French capital from Napoli in the summer of 2013.
Cavani, who has been moved into a central role this season and responded with 44 goals in just 43 appearances, is delighted to have committed to fresh terms.
Chairman and CEO Nasser Al-Khelaifi added: "He is quite simply the best striker in the world at the moment. He is one of the elite strikers in Europe."
Cavani now has 125 goals in 192 appearances for PSG, with his sights locked on Ibrahimovic’s record haul of 156.
