Bride takes gun from wedding dress, pulls trigger on husband few hours after marriage


A newly-married woman, Kate Elizabeth Prichard threatened to kill her husband with a gun hours after the two got married.

The 25-year-old bride was arrested by Policemen in Tennessee, South of USA, after she allegedly put a gun in her groom’s head during an argument only hours after the couple said, “I do.”
BBC reports that when police arrived at the motel where they lodged after the wedding, they found Elizabeth and her husband fighting.
Police said she pulled a gun out of her wedding dress and pulled the trigger during the argument.

Murfreesboro Police Sergeant, Kyle Evans told BBC, “She pulled out of her wedding dress a 9mm pistol, pointed it at her new husband’s head and pulled the trigger.”
The Police also said the bride then loaded a round into the chamber and fired a shot in the air, causing bystanders to run away.
Elizabeth who was still on her wedding dress when she was arrested, faces aggravated domestic assault charges. Officers recovered the weapon in a bathroom.
