Throwback photos of Ego Boyo and RMD on the set of 91/95 series, Checkmate

Veteran Actress Ego Boyo shared the epic throwback photo of herself and Vetran actor/politician Richard Mofe-Damijo on set of Checkmate,  a hit series in the 90s.

Ego was Anne Haastrup while RMD was Segun Kadiri. These photos were taken during the recording for the final episode of the final season of the series in 1995.

 Checkmate is a Nigerian television series that ran from 1991 to 1995, created by Amaka Isaac-Ene and sponsored by Lever Brothers Nigeria. It starred Ego Boyo, Francis Agu, and Richard Mofe Damijo. Set in Lagos, the story revolves around the Haatrope family who own the company Haatrope Investment and have made several enemies determined to destroy their business and legacy.
